This opportunity is available to those interested in advancing specific relation-centered competencies. It provides the chance to get deeply involved in one of the Institute’s applied research initiatives.

These teams assist the Institute in very time-limited research initiatives which are focused on identifying, defining, and shaping a dedicated aspect of the relation-centered body of knowledge for association management.

This advanced opportunity is available for those who have developed some proficiency in relation centered management’s premises, principles, policies, processes, procedures, and practices. The commitment varies by interest and availability.

Requests to serve in any of the above are explored on a case-by-case basis.

MBOs interested in delivering meaningful, purposeful, and transformative experiences to their members have the opportunity to serve as Research Partners without having to risk the expense of securing expertise from external sources. They have the advantage of creating and pilot testing, with the Institute’s support, innovative relation-centered solutions to their long-standing challenges. 

Then, have their MBO be publicly recognized and acknowledged for its development and use by the larger association management
community.

This opportunity begins with an in-depth discussion to ensure the desired outcomes are mutually beneficial. Detailed memorandum of understanding of collaboration, expectations, roles, and responsibilities is created to ensure a positive experience for all involved.
